CU.Office Berlin

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to services provided within the premises of CU.Office Berlin (“CU.Office”) and to the user of the premises (“Member”). Any terms and conditions of the Member do not apply unless CU.Office has expressly confirmed them in writing.

1. Scope of services
Each Member is entitled to use an available desk in the CU.Office premises at Genter Strasse 56, 13353 Berlin as a workplace. Depending on the package agreed in the contract, the Member is entitled either to the exclusive use of a designated desk or to the use of a free desk of their choice, subject to availability. In addition to the workplace, the services include: internet access, electricity, use of the meeting room for up to 8 hours per week including flipchart, and water, tea, and coffee within fair use.

2. Prices and payment terms
The fee for the agreed package is payable monthly in advance. CU.Office issues the invoice by the last day of the previous month at the latest and it must be paid within 7 days from the invoice date. Example: the invoice for the monthly ticket in August is issued on 30 July and must be paid by 5 August. Payments are accepted electronically only.

3. Access, personal use, and guests

3.1 24/7 access to the coworking space is provided via access code and the Nuki app.

3.2 It is strictly prohibited to share access codes, keys, or related information with third parties.

3.3 Use of CU.Office and the related services is limited to the Member personally. Transferring or sharing a ticket between multiple people is not permitted.

3.4 Short individual visits by guests are permitted within the house rules. Day guests and groups must be agreed with the landlord in advance and may be subject to payment. The inviting Member is liable for their guest.

4. Termination
All packages may be terminated by either party with a notice period of 40 days.

5. Liability

5.1 The Member is liable for any damages they cause, to the extent permitted by law, only insofar as such damages are based on intentional or grossly negligent conduct by the Member, their legal representatives, employees, or other agents.

5.2 In particular, CU.Office is not liable to Members for loss of profit or income, loss of data, documents, or files, claims by third parties, indirect or consequential damages, or damages resulting from defects.

5.3 CU.Office assumes no responsibility for the security and data security of its network (or its connection to the internet). The Member is responsible for ensuring appropriate data security for their computer and internet access.

5.4 Each Member is responsible for leaving the office secured: closing windows and locking the office when they are the last person to leave.

5.5 In all other respects, the statutory provisions apply.
