This privacy policy explains what we process when you use this website and the CU.App (app.ceeju.io), and how you can exercise your rights.

Server logs
When you visit the website, our server automatically processes technical information (for example IP address, browser type, device information, referrer URL, date and time, requested pages). We use this data to operate the website securely, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors. We do not use it to identify you as a person.

Cookies and local storage
We use minimal site storage to remember your preferences (for example your cookie consent choice). Non-essential services are loaded only after your consent via cookie settings.
We store your choice (for the category External services) in local storage (key: ceeju_cookie_consent).
You can remove stored data at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.

Website statistics (Umami)
We use Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we run on our own server (stats.ceeju.io, hosted by IONOS SE in Germany), to count visits to this website. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page visited, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and an approximate location (country, region, city) derived from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored, and the data is not passed on to third parties or combined across websites. Visitors whose browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal are not counted. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to understand how the website is used so that we can improve it.

Contact forms
If you contact us via a form, we process the information you submit (such as your name, email address, and message) to handle your request. We keep messages only as long as needed for communication and documentation.

Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address to send you updates. Subscriptions use a confirmation step (double opt-in). We manage the list with Listmonk on our own server and send emails via Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Germany). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email. We count in aggregate how often an email is opened and how often links in it are clicked; these statistics are not linked to individual subscribers.

CU.App (app.ceeju.io)
If you are or become a member of CU.Office, we process the data needed to run your membership in the CU.App: your name, email address, phone number, company and billing address, your plan and add-ons, your bookings and credits, the events you host or attend, and the profile you choose to publish (photo, short text, skills). Your profile is visible to other approved members; you can hide it in your profile settings. We sign you in with a one-time code sent by email. The app only uses cookies that are necessary for your session and language; there is no tracking in the app.
The app runs on our own server hosted by IONOS SE in Germany. We use the following service providers:
Nuki Home Solutions GmbH (Austria) for the electronic door key. Nuki receives your name and email address, and the lock records when a key is used. We use this log for the security of the premises and to show members who is in the office today.
Haufe-Lexware GmbH & Co. KG (Germany) for invoices.
Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Germany) for sending emails such as sign-in codes, confirmations and reminders.
OpenAI (USA) for the automatic translation of profile texts and event descriptions between German and English. Only the text itself is transmitted, without your name or email address. The transfer is based on standard contractual clauses; according to the provider, data sent via its API is not used to train models.
Payments are handled by the payment provider shown on your invoice (for example GoCardless or Stripe).
Trial-day appointments are booked through our own scheduling service (cal.ceeju.io) on our server; we process your name, email address, phone number and your answers to arrange the visit.
Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the membership contract and steps prior to it), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (statutory retention obligations for invoices) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (security of the premises, prevention of abuse). We delete your account data when your membership ends, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Third-party services

Google Maps
On the contact page, we offer an interactive map via Google Maps. The map only loads after you enable External services in cookie settings. When loaded, your browser connects to Google services and may process technical data (including your IP address).

Cal.com
If you click to book a meeting with us, your browser connects to Cal.com. If you enable External services in cookie settings, we can show the booking inside a modal. Without consent, we open Cal.com in a new tab.

YouTube embeds
If you enable External services in cookie settings, we can load embedded videos (youtube-nocookie). Without consent, we show a placeholder and you can open the video on YouTube in a new tab.

Your rights
You have the right to request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, and data portability, and to object to certain processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact us at mail@ceeju.io or via Contact.
